Bryce Allen Partner, Technical Analyst Bryce joined ESTI in January 2005 after completing an Advanced Certificate in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan. He had previously earned a four-year B.Sc. in Physics.
Bryce\'s background in science and mathematics developed strong analytical and problem solving skills that complement his training in computer science.
Bryce has had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients across Canada. His role as a client liaison allows him to develop and grow strong relationships with customers, working closely with them to identify their unique business requirements and develop products and solutions that address their needs. His experience draws from a wide range of the project lifecycle from business analysis and requirements gathering, documentation and system design, to product development, integration, maintenance and user training. Bryce’s commitment to providing on-site support allows him to build more effective and efficient working relationships and increases the value he is able to provide to his clients.
Bryce enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including mountain biking, cross country skiing and fishing, and takes advantage of the opportunity to play the upright and electric bass whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Jeff Banow Partner, Director - IT Service Delivery Jeff joined the ESTI team in April 2001, immediately after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Saskatchewan. He also earned a minor degree in economics.
Having taken a keen interest in project management, in 2012, Jeff earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute.
Jeff has spent the majority of his career at ESTI with clients in Saskatchewan, performing business analyst and project management duties, including requirements gathering, solution evaluation, process identification and documentation, scheduling and communication, and both managing and leading new application development projects or third party software installation projects.
In 2018, Jeff took on the role as Service Delivery Manager. This ultimately changed his focus to internally managing all professional services resources and opportunities, along with assisting the Sales Team and Executive Management. Jeff’s project management skills and previous client relationship experience have proven to be strong assets in this role.
Away from work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, marathon training, and following Roughriders football. While originally from Esterhazy, SK, Jeff calls Saskatoon home with his wife, Vanessa, and children, Jack and Julie.

James Bohn Partner, Principal Analyst James Bohn joined ESTI in May of 1992 after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in computational science from the University of Saskatchewan in that same year.
James\' duties include: Oracle database administration; Oracle database design; software development; design, and installation; network troubleshooting (LAN / WAN), as well as client interaction. His duties have given him practical experience in the capture, collection, and maintenance of data in large pension plan member databases.
James worked for the department of computational science while attending university providing user support. He also gained experience with IBM mainframe databases while working as a programmer/analyst with Pan Canadian Petroleum in Calgary.
James enjoys the variety of challenging tasks his job with ESTI demands. He particularly enjoys the face-to-face contact provided when working directly with clients. His dedication, focus, and problem solving skills are all important assets to this company. James has two children, Taylor and Jayden.

Dylan Bray Associate, Technical Analyst Dylan joined ESTI in January 2016 as an Analyst after interning in the summers of 2014 and 2015.
Now as a Senior Analyst, Dylan has learned the importance of self-management, and has the confidence to set and exceed goals. He has provided development expertise and IT support while working with clients in a variety of industries including: pension, education, intelligent transport, water security, and recycling management. Dylan looks forward to continually working with his team of talented analysts to serve his clients to the best of his ability.
When he is not working, you will usually find Dylan training or competing in the sport of wrestling. In his last year of university, he finished up his varsity wrestling career as captain for the University of Saskatchewan Huskies, capturing the CanWest gold medal and a CIS silver medal.

Tamara Brunwald Business Analyst Tamara joined the ESTI team in 2023 as a Project Manager/ Business Analyst. She has a degree in Human Resources and a Certificate in Ethics, Justice and Law from the University of Saskatchewan. During her time there she was involved with a Case Competition team that focused on analysis of business processes and providing strategic solutions, placing second in Western Canada, as well as the Great Canadian Sales Competition where she also placed second.
Tamara has a wide range of experience from driving 5-ton trucks at Pepsi and being a Human Resources coordinator at Finning, to Project Management and Business Analyst work for the Converged Technology team at Nutrien Potash. During her time there she was introduced to the world of IT and worked on numerous projects creating machine learning-based online applications used throughout potash mines. During these projects she strengthened her skills in communication, project management, planning, scheduling and cost estimation, and working with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Originally from Moose Jaw Saskatchewan, Tamara moved between Saskatoon, Regina and back to Moose Jaw before ultimately settling in Saskatoon. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, playing sports, working out, and baking for her friends.

With a passion for learning, Terri-lynn has achieved the Supply Chain Management Professional Designation. An entrepreneurial mindset at heart, Terri-lynn was a top finalist in the I3 Business Competition and received the Gordon & Maureen Haddock Entrepreneurship Award.

Marcos da Silva Junior Analyst Marcos recently joined the ESTI team through the Computer Science Professional Internship Program (CSPIP), offered by the University of Saskatchewan (U of S), as an Analyst.
While studying for Mechatronic Engineering, Marcos developed an interest in programming and computer science. This interest increased when he was accepted to study electromechanical engineering technician/Robotics and started developing small projects with Arduino. Currently studying computer science at the University of Saskatchewan, one of his areas of interest is Software Engineering.
Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Marcos came to Canada to study and develop his professional career. He enjoys biking at the trails by the South Saskatchewan river, reading, camping and hiking. He also enjoys travelling, and one of his favourite places in Canada so far is Banff.

Helen is originally from Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan. She worked several years in health care administration after obtaining an undergraduate degree from the U of S and a graduate degree from the University of Central Michigan. After early retirement, she worked for three years with Canada Post, first as a clerk and then as a letter carrier. Helen is looking forward to her new career in bookkeeping.

Adam Demkey Senior Analyst Adam joined ESTI in January of 2017 as an Analyst. Prior to ESTI, he worked at Superior Cabinets for over two years where his duties included managing MS SQL databases, SSRS reports, backup and recovery, custom application integrations, and user access management.

Mark Dick CEO, Partner Mark is originally from southern Alberta and moved to Saskatchewan in the mid 80’s. He attended the U of S and received his Bachelor of Science degree majoring in computer science. Following graduation, he promptly moved to Ottawa where he began his IT career as an analyst with Revenue Canada. Mark returned to Saskatoon 2 years later and joined the ESTI team as a general analyst and software developer.
Mark has been involved with all facets of IT planning, development, configuration and implementation lifecycles. Projects have included the development and implementation of payment systems, tax calculation modules, web enabled data remittance systems, safety management systems, pension and benefit administration systems and much more. The main question Mark is asked by those considering ESTI is why he has stayed at one place so long – the answer is easy: the IT world continues to change and working at ESTI has allowed him to experience these changes first hand. At ESTI, Mark has been fortunate to act as an Analyst, DBA, Director of Application Development, CIO and since 2004, CEO. He continues to have the opportunity to actively participate on projects in project management and business analyst roles.
With nearly 30 years of direct IT experience behind him, Mark continues to learn and apply his knowledge within projects as well as within ESTI’s daily operations. Although Mark\'s time is concentrated in Saskatoon, he still plays a liaison role with clients in Kindersley, Vancouver and Regina. Additionally, Mark has sat on the Saskatchewan Advanced Technology Association board of directors and the Saskatoon Industry Education Council and is actively involved in his community.

Murray Dietrich Client Account Manager Murray joined the ESTI team in 2019, based out of Edmonton, and accepted the Client Manager duties for Northern Alberta.
He started his career in Unix system administration, and that technical experience has always underpinned Murray’s many years as a delivery manager and account executive. He embraces a ‘delivery-first’ mantra, focusing on how the solution will work in production, not just on the whiteboard. He has worked in large computing environments, including some that support thousands of users and billions of dollars in invoicing.
Murray has previously worked directly for clients as an individual contractor, and for a large consulting company, managing large teams of developers and analysts. He is looking forward to engaging with ESTI clients as a strategic advisor, a partner, and an advocate for all client needs.

Steven Dionne Vendor Solutions Analyst Steve recently joined the ESTI team as a Vendor Solutions Analyst. He has more than 25 years in the customer service industry but spent the last 15 years of that in technology sales, home automation installation and design. Steve prides himself on his customer service skills and the strong relationships he has built over the years with his clients, many of whom he now calls friends.
Always having an interest in technology, networking, and all things IT based, the career pivot to joining ESTI came at perfect time when his thirst for knowledge had him wanting more challenges and growth. Andrew Dyck Associate, Technical Analyst Andrew joined ESTI in 2013 as an Infrastructure Analyst, and has a Bachelor of Science Engineering (with a major in Computer Engineering). Since joining, he has received multiple certifications in the IT sector, and has recently achieved the designation of Professional Engineer through APEGS.
Andrew was born and raised in Saskatoon, whereupon he quickly developed a keen interest in all things technical and computer related. He pursued his degree in Computer Engineering to further his knowledge and areas of expertise in both the hardware and software fields, as well as gaining valuable knowledge in the areas of design and project management. With the valuable assets he gained throughout his education, and the knowledge and skills he’s acquired while working with ESTI clients, he’s proven to be a strong and valuable member of the ESTI team. He likes to consider himself a jack of all trades, with skills in virtualization, networking, servers, storage, and a strong focus on data protection. These skill-sets allow him to be a versatile asset to ESTI, and to our clients. Andrew is further honing his knowledge by transitioning into a Pre-Sales Architecture role.

Mac Ellis Account Manager Mac Ellis joined the ESTI Edmonton based team in 2023 focusing on providing support and guidance to clients in Northern Alberta throughout their IT journey.

Ryan Gerstmar Partner, Principal Analyst Strong analytical skills acquired while earning both an Advanced Certificate in computer science and a four-year Bachelor of Science (major in physics / minor in astronomy) from the University of Saskatchewan have proven invaluable to our clients.

Nicholas Hamilton Associate, Enterprise IT Architect Nick joined ESTI in September of 2014 as an Enterprise IT Architect. Nick was born and raised in Calgary and attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) to complete the Computer Engineering Technologist program. Nick has developed his expertise over the years by immersing himself in the EMC, Cisco and VMware worlds. He achieved this by deploying VBlock’s and maintaining large scale Enterprise storage environments.

Ryan Hodgson Senior Analyst Ryan re-joined ESTI in April 2022 as a Senior Analyst upon returning to Saskatoon. Ryan obtained a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan and has been in the technology industry for 5 years. Most recently, Ryan completed the Professional Scrum Master I(PSMI) certification.
Ryan has enjoyed success working on an enterprise .Net software project where he gained experience working as both a full stack agile developer as well as Scrum Master helping to provide leadership for a team of 10. Previously, Ryan experienced working with the Oracle technology stack during his initial experience with ESTI.

Majed Larbe Account Manager Majed hails from the UK and joined the British Army at 17 years old. In 1992 he decided to make Canada his home after being stationed in Alberta for a period of time. Majed sports a tattoo on his right arm: “Born in England. Made in Canada.”
Majed\'s diverse career has taken him from the military to assistant kitchen manager/cook, window/door/kitchen installer, automotive sales/sales management, and since 2019, has embraced the world of IT being employed on both the vendor and partner side. His experiences have been with small and enterprise class clients, the public and private sector, with seat counts from 10 – 30,000 employees.
He has had many experiences professionally and personally in his 30+ years in Canada. As aspiring actor (yet only a small bio on IMDB), an avid cyclist from mountain, road or e-biking, and a runner - recently completing a couple of half marathons in Calgary and Canmore. He values fitness and is always happy to be out on the pathways, trails, in a mud-run or in the gym. Majed is a 9-year participant in the Alberta Ride to Conquer Cancer and finds time to volunteer on the sorting line at the Calgary Food Bank.
Majed is a single father to 2 boys, who just happen to be born in the same ward, same hospital, same day…one year apart. Be he argues they are NOT Irish twins, as they were not born on the Emerald Isle. Family time includes Calaway Park, glamping, the zoo, watching football (soccer) or hockey games, riding scooters on the pathways, movies nights or chilling on the many family friendly patios.

Ryan Larsen Analyst Ryan joined ESTI in 2023 after completing his B.Sc. from the University of Saskatchewan with a major in Computer Science. He joins the hardware team as an Infrastructure Analyst, eager to learn while applying his skills and knowledge to the challenges ahead.
While growing up in Saskatoon, Ryan had a love for all things technology. After building his first computer in high school, he was hooked. Since then, he has kept up to date with the cutting edge of consumer hardware and the innovations it has enabled for software development. He is excited to dive into the enterprise IT world and learn all it has to offer.
During the summer months, Ryan likes to keep busy gardening and going to the lake to fish, boat, and relax. In the winter, he likes to go out to the mountains to snowboard. The rest of his free time is split between playing video games, reading, and going to the gym with his friends.

Dwayne Lehouillier Senior Network Analyst Dwayne recently joined ESTI after spending 13 years with managed services providers specializing in SMB IT support. Born and raised in small town Saskatchewan, Dwayne has spent a number of years in Calgary, obtaining a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology as well as a Bachelor in Computer Information Systems.
Dwayne has worked in a variety of positions supporting IT requirements in the SMB segment, including server and network support and administration. Starting as a IT generalist, he has gradually migrated to where his interests lie - specifically network infrastructure and support. He is excited for the varied opportunities to contribute to the ESTI team in the service and support of its enterprise clients.
Outside of work, Dwayne enjoys reading, watching space documentaries, walking his dog and spending time with family and friends.

Stacy Lloyd Partner, Director - Finance Stacy joined the ESTI technical team in 1993 after receiving his Bachelor of Science Advanced Certificate in Computational Science from the University of Saskatchewan.
Stacy has worked with public sector clients, investment managers, pension plan sponsors, and private equity investors in pension and investment technology areas throughout his tenure at ESTI.
Blessed with strong analytical abilities, Stacy is particularly adept when it comes to finding business solutions relating to the design and implementation of complex technology.

Scott Lowe Senior Network Analyst Scott joined ESTI in August of 2023 as a Network Engineer. Scott started within the IT industry in 2007 when he graduated with honors from Saskatoon Business College\'s IT Analyst and Administrator Diploma program. Since then, Scott has been architecting, implementing, and supporting all aspects of IT Infrastructure Solutions with his primary calling being Network Engineering.
Throughout his career, he has worked hand-in-hand with multiple network and security vendors and their associated platforms. Alongside this, Scott has taken a multitude of vendor training from Dell, VMware, and Aruba. This has empowered Scott to build the right, custom-fit solution for his customers.
While Scott has been focused on ensuring his clients have the right solutions for their organization, he is also a dedicated family man. He has been married to his wife for 10 years and is a father to twin boys. He enjoys spending time with his family, taking family vacations and bicycle rides with his boys during the summer and being a hockey dad during the winter.

Troy Martin Contractor, Network Engineer Troy Martin is founder and director at Trogen Consulting, specializing in mobile and wireless technologies. When Troy is not designing, troubleshooting, and optimizing wireless networks, he can be found teaching others about the art and science of Wi-Fi in classes around the world. With over 25 years in the realm of networking, Troy has delivered wireless solutions in typical wireless settings as well as more demanding environments such as mines, refineries, and power generating plants. He is passionate about connecting things without wires and is thrilled to be part of the IoT explosion. Troy is a P.Eng. who holds Bachelor degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Computer Science along with several industry certifications, most notably the CWNE #90, CWISE #002, CCIE #20999, and CISSP.

Ryan Mazenc Cloud Solutions Architect Ryan joined the ESTI team in June 2018, bringing with him a strong competence in IT automation, solutions architecture and operational excellence. For the past several years, Ryan has spent the majority of his time working with clients across Western Canada, involved with all facets of IT lifecycle, including governance, solutions architecture, implementation and operations.
Ryan has worked in IT for over 15 years. He achieved a B.A. in Political Science and a M.A. in Social and Political Thought at the University of Regina and credits his education with developing his analytical skills as well as developing strong communication skills. While completing his degrees, Ryan continued his IT career and has now worked with customers in almost every business sector and from large enterprise to small business. Ryan brings a strong understanding of the principles of automation in IT operations and led all automation, monitoring and management efforts at one of Canada’s largest Managed IT Service Providers. Coming from years in the trenches of IT operations, Ryan is excited by the new possibilities that cloud computing is offering to businesses today.

Brett Melnychuk Senior Analyst Brett joined ESTI via the University of Saskatchewan Computer Science Professional Internship Program (CSPIP) in May of 2019. During his 16-month internship Brett handled multiple duties for ESTI ranging from web development to assisting with enterprise network deployments, where he took a keen interest. Brett continued to work in a part time capacity for ESTI while completing the fourth and final year of his Bachelor of Science majoring in Computer Science, which he earned with distinction in April of 2020.
Now a Senior Analyst, Brett has continued to build his skill set by specializing in network automation, Wi-Fi, and wireless technologies. He has provided wireless design and deployment expertise to multiple clients in varying industries including health care and mining. In addition, he has successfully leveraged his computer science background and combined those skills with his enterprise networking experience to save clients time and money by creating automation tools to aid in day-to-day network administration and deployments. Brett looks forward to continuing his work in these regards and expanding his knowledge base further.
Originally from Yorkton Saskatchewan, Brett grew up playing sports like hockey and football. However, he has called Saskatoon home since starting university in 2016. AJ Nargang Sales Operations Associate AJ Nargang joined ESTI in May of 2021 after earning his B.A. degree with distinction, he was honoured with the Most Outstanding Graduate Award in Interactive Systems Design from the University of Saskatchewan. His time at university honed his skills in graphical design, game development, usability & human computer interaction, and software development.
AJ started working at a young age on his family farm, and got his first job at fourteen years old. AJ has had experience in various labour industries such as the oilfield, landscaping, and land surveying in his late teens and early twenties. These experiences have engrained a strong work ethic as one of his core values.
AJ moved into retail sales management during the span of 5 years coinciding with his studies at university. Sales experience has instilled a “client first” mentality and gave him the skills to develop and maintain strong client relationships. He also has experience implementing user interfaces and developing user experiences for the University of Saskatchewan’s Shared Spaces application.

Greg Netzel Partner, Technical Architect Greg Netzel began working in IT with the Government of Saskatchewan gaining a wide range of experience from the desktop to servers, networking and architecture.
In 2000, Greg joined an Independent Marketing Organization as a technical architect where he applied Sun Microsystems based technology solutions to business requirements, including hardware and software. After Greg became a partner with the IMO in 2005, the organization joined ESTI Consulting Services in 2010. With ESTI Greg continues to provide valuable experience to client business challenges.
Through day-to-day operations and project delivery, Greg has been involved in technology guidance, solution design for enterprise clients including 200K+ mailbox solutions, Oracle DB consolidation, virtualization planning & delivery, mainframe migrations, system monitoring / management, and thin client virtualized desktops. Working intimately with many clients through his career, Greg has gained a comprehensive understanding of a vast number of different business challenges and efficient solutions to address them.

Jim Nickel Partner, Technical Analyst Jim joined ESTI in May 2009 as a Technical Analyst. Jim brings significant experience in the areas of relational databases, application development, infrastructure design, development and maintenance.
Since 2005, Jim has worked extensively with virtualization products focusing on VMware and has attained VMware Certified Professional status. He has worked on a wide variety of projects including:

• disaster recovery and business continuity

George Odegard Founder George founded ES Technology Inc. in 1989 and steered it to its present position as one of the leading systems consulting companies in Canada.

Over the past 30 years ESTI has grown from a two-man firm operated in his basement to an organization with nearly 50 staff members and clients in Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Lethbridge, Saskatoon, Regina and Winnipeg.
George has experience in both the computer industry and in the public education sector. He spent 11 years as an educator in the Saskatoon public education system. George then joined SaskComp in the Saskatoon office from 1981 to 1989.
George combines his experience in structured business analysis and his ability to promote discussion with end-users to quickly identify the requirements of the client as well as facilitate the necessary consensus on functional and design issues.

Evan Olynuk Partner, Client Account Manager Holding a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Saskatchewan, Evan has academic and applied experience in management consulting, market research, and business planning. Maureen Perepelkin Partner, Senior Analyst Helping to train others has become second nature for Maureen, a responsibility that she previously had at the MicroAge Computer Store and at the City of Saskatoon.
Maureen has the unique ability to make the complex world of computers easy to understand. Her knowledge combined with her enthusiasm and energy makes Maureen a superb instructor. ESTI has capitalized on these skills by having Maureen provide training courses on a variety of software applications for our clients. She is equally at home whether providing advanced individualized instruction or in a large classroom of novices.
Maureen is also on hand to provide support for individual PC users who need to unravel their computer maladies. She also customizes software package installation on individual workstations and does a variety of associated and follow-up services for the clients of ESTI.
At present, Maureen is working on the development of software that regression tests applications before enhancements or upgrades are promoted to production.
Maureen has one son, Mark, and three stepsons through her marriage to John. Maureen is originally from Kirkland Lake.

Todd Rae Principal Solutions Architect, Partner Todd joined ESTI in October 2011. During his 25 plus years of IT experience, he has held Senior Management roles in several focused areas of IT including Retail Operations, Corporate IT Support, and the Storage VAR community. His past roles have involved technical services and support, product education, and solutions design.
Todd’s direct ownership of projects have ranged from the acquisition and deployment of Open System retail environments for over 70 "Big Box" retail sites across North America, to the design and the deployment of an Enterprise Class web based auction infrastructure based around Oracle RAC, in addition to several Data Center relocations for Enterprise sized companies. Todd adds his skills as a Project Manager, Solutions Architect, and Storage Expert to the team, helping ESTI continue to offer a well-rounded solution based approach to our customers.
Todd was born and raised in Saskatchewan. After living in several cities across Canada, he returned to Saskatoon in 2007 where he lives with his wife Tami, and children, Matthew, Brooklyn, Leonard, and Danielle.

Geoffrey Shaw Senior Analyst Geoffrey “Geo” Shaw joined ESTI in April of 2022 having previously worked as an Application Developer for ITRAK 365, a Health and Safety company in Calgary. He has five years of experience using the Agile Methodology, and over seven years of delivering solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics CRM framework. Geo is also a member of the SAIT Information Technology - Software Development Advisory Committee, having annually met with educators regarding the future of the IT industry for over four years.
Since joining ESTI, Geo has been involved with custom application development on an enterprise level project for a Saskatchewan Crown. He is excited at the opportunity to expand his knowledge of the businesses that ESTI works for.
In his spare time, Geo puts together and paints plastic miniatures. He also has been practicing the electric guitar for a few years.

Daniel Spilchuk Analyst Daniel joined the ESTI team in May 2022 via the Computer Science Professional Internship Program (CSPIP), offered by the University of Saskatchewan, as an Analyst.
Daniel developed an interest in Computer Science during high school and enjoys understanding and solving problems. His programming interests range from small assembly projects to larger web projects. Daniel is eager to work with ESTI and learn new ideas.

Raj Thakore Associate, Network Engineer Raj joined ESTI in 2018, and has been interested in the field of computer networks since he completed his B.E. in Computer Science in 2011. Raj has been working in the field of network and network security since that time. To build on his skills, Raj took the Computer Networking Technician program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic and has been steadily gaining experience in the IT industry.
The majority of Raj’s time in the past years has been spent designing, implementing, and troubleshooting networks, as well as providing small and medium businesses with edge network security. Raj has had the opportunity to learn and work with a multitude of platforms and vendors. He has also had the opportunity to design and implement and operationalize various network and edge security projects. He is constantly growing, learning, and expanding his horizons.
Raj’s outside work interests include further developing various technical skill-sets, movies, road trips, hiking, biking, and spending time with family.
