ESTI Welcomes Two New Employees

Jason Truong joined ESTI in February 2004. He graduated with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science majoring in computer science in 2002. In 2003, he worked in Japan and had the opportunity to backpack around Asia for two months before coming back and joining ESTI.

In addition to his love of travel and learning about other cultures, Jason also brings to the team a variety of work experiences. They include technical support, software design and development from his internship with Nortel Networks in Ottawa, biological computing research in Bioinformatics at the University of Saskatchewan, and teaching/counseling from his position in Japan.

Jason is currently involved in application development and maintenance for ESTI clients based in Winnipeg and Vancouver. He enjoys the technical challenges from his duties as much as the interactions with clients in helping them to realize their goals.

Jason orginates from Kamsack, SK but now lives in Saskatoon.

Olumuyiwa (Oni) Oni joined ESTI in April 2004 after completing his Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan. His area of research was queueing theory and initial bias problem in simulation. Olumuyiwa grew up in Nigeria and began his post-secondary education by completing a Bachelor of Science degree (Combined Honors) in Computer Science with Economics in 1995 at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria ( www.oauife.edu.ng ). Olumuyiwa worked for 4 years as a financial service adviser and a system analyst at a leading multinational financial instution, ECOBANK with presence across West and Central Africa ( www.ecobank.com ) before moving to Saskatoon in 2000 to pursue further studies in Computer Science. Olumuyiwa is currently involved in application development and maintenance for ESTI clients based in Winnipeg and Saskatoon. He and his wife, Jumoke have one daughter, Timi. He is an avid lover of sports (soccer, lawn tennis and cricket) and an overseas fan of Manchester United Football Club, England.
